“My oldest son Andre’ played for him at STM and there is no one I would recommend more to help develop a young player than Eric Mouton. That is why I wanted to work with him on this project to give back to the young people in the Lafayette area. Eric grew up here and knows what it takes to compete and excel at the college level, that knowledge has helped Andre’. Also, Coach Eric has probably taught Andre’ just as much about being a good young man as well as helped improve his skills on the basketball court.”
Marty Fletcher, Coach Eric’s coach at ULL says: “Eric was someone who always wanted to get better as a player and worked as hard as anyone to get there. He was the first one at practice and the last one to leave. He had knowledge of the game well beyond his years; he was really like another coach on the floor. I knew he would make a great coach one day and this is a great program for the youth of Lafayette”
Anonymous Parent: Christopher had a great game last night. He didn’t score but they passed to him, he played awesome defense and they won. The coach was thrilled with his progress. The important thing….he felt really, really good about it.
